<p>The AxyPrep™ Blood Genomic <span class="caps">DNA </span>Maxiprep kits are designed to produce up to 100 mg and 500 mg of high molecular weight genomic <span class="caps">DNA</span> respectively from anticoagulated human or animal blood. Purification is based upon a unique phase-partitioning technology in combination with the selective binding of the genomic <span class="caps">DNA</span> to a special AxyPrep column. The purified genomic <span class="caps">DNA</span> is greater than or equal to 30 Kb in size, and is particularly well suited for <span class="caps">PCR</span>, Southern blotting and other applications requiring highly purifid, high molecular weight genomic <span class="caps">DNA</span>.</p>
