Systematically Controlled Crystallization Screen Set 101: CP-CUSTOM-101-1ml or 10ml

This Protein Crystallization Screen has been designed by Armando Villaseñor and Seth Harris (Roche) expanding on the work by Tran et al1 to enable statistical evaluation of crystallization trials. The screen places emphasis on the three most efficient precipitants (Ammonium Sulfate, Malonate and PEG) 2 both in isolation and in combination with a 2nd precipitant (MPD, NaCI, Peg 400, Peg 8K, and 2-propanol).

Advantages and Features

  • Systematic variation of conditions to allow for statistical evaluation.
  • Statistical control comprised of a panel of 12 conditions (A01-A12) where the well formulation includes a single precipitant (Malonate, Ammonium Sulfate, or Peg 3350).
  • Dual precipitate formulations where the panel of 12 repeats in the presence of a 2nd precipitant (MPD, NaCI, Peg 400, Peg 8K, and 2-propanol).
  • Unique formulations not found in other commercially available screens.
  • Inclusion of Twenty-four formulations from Tran et al.
